June 2025
Dear WFM Friends and Supporters,
Last year marked a powerful milestone for the Women’s Foundation of Montana- 25 years!
Thanks to your support, WFM is a permanent resource for gender equity in Montana. Together, we invest in a network of leaders and organizations that work to expand access to healthcare, economic opportunities, leadership, and safety for women and girls.
By now, you’ve likely received our 2024 Impact Report - a celebration of the hope, vision, and persistence behind WFM's work. Inside, you'll find stories of transformation, from rural girls building lasting community through the Girls Leadership Program, to doulas being uplifted by Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies, to innovative solutions for child care from Central Montana Childcare Alliance. These stories show the real impact of coming together to strengthen our communities. We hope you see your impact on every page.
As we look to the next 25 years, our commitment is unwavering. We’ll keep backing women leaders and bold organizations, so every woman in Montana has the chance to thrive.
Thank you for being part of this work.
With gratitude,

During Pride Month, we are proud to uplift the work of our grantee, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Montana, whose tireless advocacy supports the rights, health, and dignity of all Montanans.
Fighting for Reproductive Health Care Changes but Never Stops
Reproductive health care is a significant aspect of life for women, whether in menopause, in their early 20s, or building their families with the help of medical technologies like IVF.

The fight for access to care has taken many forms over the years, from mobilizing a group of mothers to advocate for birth control, to protesting on the steps of the Supreme Court, to registering voters.
For more than 55 years, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Montana (PPAMT) has been there for every fight, advocating loudly for the high-profile issues like abortion access as well as the quieter, yet equally important, struggles to ensure everyone has access to reproductive health care with Title X funding. The work is ongoing and constantly evolving. Grant funding from WFM supports PPAMT’s ability to adapt to and engage young people in advocacy in ways that are meaningful to them.
In the past year, PPAMT has been working with young people on college campuses with energy they haven’t seen in decades. “It is clear that Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization awakened people to the fragility of our reproductive rights and other fundamental human rights,” says Martha Fuller, PPAMT Executive Director.
PPAMT is helping campus organizers break molds and find new, innovative, and often digital ways to connect with their peers. They engaged voters in every county of the state to pass CI-128, and are building the relationships essential to ensure everyone has access to health care, reproductive rights, and the freedom to choose their own paths without stigma or shame.
