August 2024

Dear WFM Friends and Supporters,

I’m excited to share some good news with you!

The Women’s Foundation of Montana (WFM) is proud to announce the complete list of our 2024 grantees. WFM has awarded $385,000 in grants to twenty-three incredible organizations across our state.

We’re immensely proud of the dedication and impact of WFM’s 2024 grantees. These organizations create greater economic security for women, advocate for a stronger social safety net, and provide essential services that women and families need to flourish. From housing and nutrition to leadership development and political participation - their work is not just inspiring—it’s essential to building a future where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to thrive.

This funding was made possible through the collective impact of donors who stand for the rights and empowerment of all women. Thank you for supporting WFM and the organizations across Montana working to make a difference in the lives of women and girls.

With gratitude,

Kylie Gursky
Director, WFM

PS. While WFM could only fund a portion of this year’s applicants, each organization that applied to WFM is making a difference. If you’re interested in learning more about our grantee partners or how you can support unfunded applications, please reach out to me at kylie@mtcf.org.

Thank you for your unwavering support.

WFM’s Grantmaking Priorities

The Women's Foundation of Montana has granted over $1 million to organizations across Montana. We fund programs or organizations that promote social change for women and are working to center the needs of Indigenous women and women in rural Montana.

WFM grantees are the experts. We follow—not lead or direct—their work to build a future where women and girls of every background and identity can thrive. WFM grantees are working to improve the lives of women and girls in our state through:

  • Access to fulfilling work with a livable wage and quality benefits;
  • Education, training, and leadership opportunities;
  • Essential services to meet basic needs, including housing, nutrition, safety, and financial stability;
  • Public policies that strengthen the social safety net, improve the availability of affordable child care, and increase access to health care;
  • Increased political participation of women.

WFM is a powerful force for philanthropy in Montana because of your support. WFM grantees lead the way in creating strong communities that work for women and girls.
