September 2024

Dear WFM Friends and Supporters,

As access to reproductive health care is being challenged across the country, Montanans have the opportunity to secure reproductive rights in our state for current and future generations. Montanans Securing Reproductive Rights (MSRR), is working to pass CI-128, a citizen-led initiative that will enshrine reproductive rights, including the right to an abortion, in Montana’s state constitution.

The Women’s Foundation of Montana proudly endorses Montanans Securing Reproductive Rights (MSRR) in their work to pass CI-128. MSRR’s effort is aligned with the mission and work WFM does each day. Sexual and reproductive health and rights, including the right to access medical care that includes abortion, are foundational to women’s well-being, equality, and empowerment. As a community of organizations and donors working to support women, WFM knows that decisions about pregnancy are deeply personal. We will work alongside partners to ensure that Montanans can make these decisions without government interference.

We encourage you to learn more about CI-128 and to vote YES on CI-128 in November.

Montanans Securing Reproductive Rights (MSRR) has been active in communities across the state: collecting a record number of signatures to qualify for the ballot, talking with voters, and celebrating the success of the campaign so far. There are few remaining upcoming celebrations on their calendar—join them in Missoula, the Flathead, and Great Falls. They will also be hosting a statewide rally in Helena soon.

You can RSVP to one of their events here

Sincerely,

Kylie Gursky
